iRangeX IRX4 2.4G CC2500 NRF24L01 A7105 CYRF6936 4 IN 1 Multiprotocol ARM TX Module With Case

Description:
The 4 in 1 wireless module integrate four RF chips (CC2500,NRF24L01,A7105,CYRF6936) into one single circuit board, with MCU baseplate, can support a variety of remote control protocols by identifying the PPM signal output of the remote control, such as Walkera DEVO,Spektrum DSM2,Flysky,Frsky,WLToys,Hubsan,Hisky,etc. It can control up to several hundreds airplanes (or receivers).
This module can recognize the remote control PPM signal, then converted into the corresponding standard wireless remote control format, which means that in theory as long as the remote control is with analog functions, it can work.

This Multiprotocol TX Module is the ARM board, all protocols are included. It is suitable for many brand"s quadcopters, helicopters and airplanes .You can control RC quadcopters,RC helicopters or RC airplanes flexibility when you insert the TX Module to your Frsky X9D/X9D Plus/X12S,flysky TH9X,Turnigy 9XR/9XR PRO transmitter. As long as your transmitter can use the Open TX firmware,it is compatible with this module. You will get many new ways to control the RC models.

Note:
The above protocols are transplanted from open source projects based on the remote control Walkera DEVIATION,the the original author have tested almost the protocols, but he is not specially test for this 4 in 1 wireless module, the protocols our supplier tested have been stated above, untested protocols does not rule out is not supported, but there may be a problem of program configuration,so not rule out the subsequent firmware can support.

Open source protocol is mostly cracked, protocol version is constantly updated, inevitably there are omissions. Including but not limited to the following issues:
- Part program version DSM2 have protocol compatibility problems.
- Some receiver (original AR600) need to rebind per use, some receiver (Spektrum integrated receiver) frame rate is a bit slow. This issue basically determine the problem is on the program itself.

Tested Ground Control Distance:
CC2500: V8FR receiver with Frsky protocol,about 240m.
A7105: WLToys V911 helicopter with Flysky 8 ch receiver,based on Flysky protocol,about 240m.
CYFR6936: Spektrum MCPX helicopter with DSM2 protocol,Walkera SUPERCP helicopter with DEVO protocol, about 200m,
NRF24L01: WLToys V977 helicopter with KN protocol, use Walkera DEVO transmitter, about 200m (If equipped with MCU
baseplate,only 50m). Hisky HCP100S helicopter with Hisky protocol,about 70m.

Having bought a Taranis transmitter for its sheer versatility, I had to have one of these to go with it. Like the transmiter, it comes without any instructions and there is no link to an on-line manual. Fortunately, there are how-to videos on Youtube, but they only scratch the surface. The first hurdle is to get around the complexity of setting up the transmitter to use the module. You immediately find that the transmitter will not even recognise the module until you download and install the latest firmware for the transmitter. You then have to negotiate the various menus to turn off the internal RF module and initiate the external module. You can then select the appropriate model type. Maybe I'm missing something, but not all of the listed model protocols are supported, although the menu structure is so complex that it easy to miss something. I also found that not all of the listed types will actually work. Here is a summary of my experiences:
HISKY - It would bind but only gave erratic and intermitent control. I tried this with three different receivers with the same result.
DSM2 - If you select 'DSM2' from the menu, it won't work. You have to select 'MULTI' and then scroll through to 'DSM'. You can then select from 'S 11ms', 'S 22ms', 'X 11ms' and 'X 22ms'. 'S 22ms' works with all my models, 'DSM2' and 'DSMX'. (Control order: TAER).
Eachine QX80/QX95 - no problem. (Control order: TAER).
JXD392 quadcopter - It would bind, but the control order was jumbled and no amount of variations in the transmitter order made any difference. It seems there was a bug in the firmware I dowmloaded. When a later version became available, the setup wizard now worked and I was able to correct this. (Control order: AETR).
Nine Eagles P51 - no problem. (Control order: TAER - aileron reversed).
Hubsan X4 and Q4 - no problem. (Control order: AETR - aileron and rudder recersed).
Eachine H8S 3D - no problem. (Control order: AETR).
With all the quadcopters it is necessary to use an oscilloscope to establish the use of the other features. Most of these use pushbuttons and the Taranis doesn't have any, so you have to find tour own workaround for this.
Both this module and the Taranis transmitter are not exactly user-friendly. Both need detailed instructions. The transmitter 'Manual' makes no mention of programming. I still don't know what the two lights on the module are for.
In short, it will work with most things, except HiSky, but you may need a lot of experimentation and trial and error to get a particulr model to work.
Its worth noting that all of the above will bind and work perfectly with my modified Devo 7e.

Q: will this work in a FlySky Paladin 18 to use with spektrum receivers?
      A:
... it should, check the compatibility list for your protocol. I'm not an expert, but you should have AFHDS2 or smt like that. which works perfectly fine.

Q: hello. i wish to buy this modul, but i am not an expert, therefore i have some questions: 1. i wish to install this modul in an old 35MHz transmitter Futaba FC16 with ppm signal. does the modul work there in 2,4 GHz with an AFHDS2A protocoll flysky receiver.....because i have some aeroplanes with similar flysky receiver with AFHDS2A protocoll. thank you for answer. 🙂👍 wolfgang breithaupt ***** or ***** or: 004915771423876
      A:
The fc16 doesn't have a module bay so unless you can find a wiring diagram with instructions on how to fit this, it will not work.

Q: Will irangx 4 module work with Telemetry enabled receivers ?
      A:
Withopen TX, it should. But keep in mind the Spektrum Rx use for the most part, flyby telem, so you will get a lot of warnings regarding lost link from the telemetry.

I have the same radio. But got help. But on mine. This one is completely great to use. And has been in use for a long long time. But I, stick to the same radio and accessories. But I feel. That it is probably the only one. But so much fun to fly. With this one. Have tied up. Used drones. Then it's only because of this one. But then. Also for more. That's why I've kept it. Then learn slowly. Good to have. What I know can be used, thank you. Note: I have an EU radio. For those who asked about it.

DShot is a protocol only for the ESC. It will depend on the receiver you have - Frsky D8 or Spektrum DSM2, then yes this module should work. Flysky, I'm not sure.
